Panggung theater broadway biasanya menampilkan seni pertunjukan berbentuk pertunjukan drama atau drama musikal.
Awalnya boradway adalah sebuah nama jalan di negara Amerika Serikat tepatnya dikota New York. Broadway adalah jalan protokol tertua yang membentang dibagian utara-selatan, yang sudah ada sejak pemukiman pertama Amsterdam Baru. Nama broadway sendiri adalah bentuk artian dari bahasa belanda yang pada saat itu jaan ini bernama Breede weg . Dijalan ini lah sumber industri theater terbesar. terdapat 39 panggung theater profesional disepanjang jalan ini, antara lain;
